Uttar Pradesh: UG and PG courses are only final year exams, first year students are being promoted

According to the latest update, all colleges and universities will be conducting final year exams of undergraduate and postgraduate courses by August 15, 2021, the Uttar Pradesh Higher Education Department said. The respective exams will be announced by the respective Universities or Colleges soon. The decision was taken by the Deputy Chief Minister of UP, Dr. Dinesh Sharma has officially announced that he will also hold the state education department. The state government had earlier announced that it would be promoting first and second year students to the next class based on internal assessment.

PG And issued guidelines for examinations of semester courses
Guidelines for postgraduate and semester exams have also been issued, Sharma said. There will be no clinical tests and the points will be determined based on theory tests. Viva Vos, if required, is only conducted online. “The examination system will be simplified at the university level and the results will be announced by August 31,” Sharma said in a statement. At the same time, the academic year 2021-22 will start from September 2021.

It is necessary to create a promotional formula by June 18th

Sharma said more than 4.1 million students were enrolled in UP universities and affiliated degree colleges and all the decisions were taken in keeping with the health of the students. First-year students who were promoted to second year without exam last year said they would have to sit the exam this year. Universities said by June 18 they needed to draft a draft campaign formula.
