The University Grants Commission (UGC) has released the test guidelines and academic calendar for the current session and the new admission. According to the guidelines, universities are required to complete the final year / semester exam by 31 August 2021.
UG starts after the 12th result is released The admission process
UGC says that for UGC 2021, the UGC admissions process will be started in various universities only after CBSE, ICSE and other state boards have released Class 12 results as per Supreme Court directive. The new academic session will start from October 1, 2021. The Commission is expected to release the results of CBSE and ICSE along with all State Boards by July 31, 2021, as per the Supreme Court order in its Circular of July 16, 2021. So the admissions process will begin later or temporarily from August 1, 2021.
September 30 for universities The admission process until 2021 Must be completed
In addition, universities are directed to complete the admissions process by 30 September 2021 and start a new session beginning October 1, 2021. The last date for filling the vacant positions is October 31st. At the same time, new session records can be submitted until December 31, 2021. What is special is that if there is a delay in the declaration of Class X results, the Higher Education Institute may plan to start a new academic session from October 18.
Cancellation fees will not be collected until October 31st
Apart from the calendar release, the UGC said that in view of the epidemic, universities will not charge any cancellation fee to withdraw admission until October 31. After that, if student admission is canceled by December 31, 2021, universities can deduct a maximum of Rs 1000 per processing fee.
