Today is the last date to register for CAT 2021, how to apply

IIM CAT 2021: Today is the last date for registration of Common Entrance Examination -2021 (CAT 2021) for admission to various management programs at Indian Institute of Management. Candidates who have not yet registered are allowed today. Interested candidates can register for the examination by visiting the official website at 5.00 PM. IIM CAT 2021 will be held on November 28 and the exam admission cards will be issued on October 27.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent CGPA (45% for ST / SC / PWD classes) with at least 50% marks awarded by any recognized university or academic institution. Candidates who attend the Master’s Degree / equivalent qualification examination and have completed the degree requirements and are awaiting the results may also apply.

Registration fee

Online registration fee of Rs 1100 for SC, ST and PWD candidates and Rs 2200 for all other candidates.

How to Apply for IIM Cat 2021

  • First go to the official website
  • On the home page, “New Candidate Registration”;
  • Fill in the necessary details.
  • After registration, login to the portal.
  • Fill in the application form, pay the fee and submit it.
  • Download the application form and take a print out for future reference.

Cat 2021 will be held in computer-based mode in 158 cities across three periods on November 28. The result will be announced in the second week of January 2022. The exam duration is 120 minutes. There are three sections – section I verbal ability and reading comprehension, section II data interpretation and logical reasoning, section III quantitative ability. Candidates are given exactly 40 minutes to answer questions in each section and they are not allowed to move from one section to another while answering questions in one section.
