It is often seen that people forget their Wi-Fi password. For this, we try in many ways but we are not able to succeed in it. Also try resetting the router, but still it will not work. If you have forgotten your Wi-Fi password, there is no need to worry. Today we will tell you how you can reset your Wi-Fi password.
Find the password in the settings
First you can find the password. To do this, you need to go to Windows and Mac devices and open the Router Settings page. But for both of these methods to work, one of your devices must be connected to the Wi-Fi network. If the user’s device is not connected to WiFi, they can use the WPS push button installed on the back of the router or they can go to the router’s settings page to connect with the help of an Ethernet cable.
When your WiFi is connected to a Windows or Mac device
First click on the Windows WiFi option.
Select the option and then open the Network and Sharing Center.
Click Change Adapter Settings on the next screen
Double click on the WiFi option
After the WiFi Status page, click on Wireless Properties
Click on the Security tab and select Show password and then view the password.
When your Wi-Fi is not connected to any device
Take the Ethernet cable and connect it to a Windows device.
Connect the RJ45 cable to the Windows PC and open the router’s configuration page. Log in.
After logging in, click on the WiFi option on the router and search for the password or security option.
Click Show Password to see the password.
WPS button if connected to the device.
WPS gives users the option to connect to WiFi without any password help, because these users have to click on the WPS button on the back of the router. After this, users can search for the password by going to the setup page.
