Originally from Pune, Maharashtra, Yogesh Patil earned his engineering degree before joining UPSC. He had made up his mind to appear at UPSC while engineering. In such a situation, he prepared with meticulous strategy and rigorous perseverance and showed success in both his endeavors. He believes that there are many misconceptions in the minds of people regarding the UPSC, which is very important to clear. Yogesh says success in UPSC can always be achieved only by people who have studied English medium and most people feel that their English is very strong. Yogesh’s advice to other candidates
No matter what background you come from at UPSC, Yogesh believes that by coming here you have to prepare from scratch and that success can only be achieved with hard work. According to them, prepare according to your syllabus and make notes on some important topics. Once the preparation is complete, revise again and again and give answer writing and mock test papers. If you prepare for one year with full dedication you can clear this test.
