Uttar Pradesh police are set to set the record for the biggest recruitment drive of sub-inspectors in a year. Recently, the UP Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPR and PB) has released 9534 posts, including 9027 posts in the Civil Police, Sub Inspector, 484 PAC and 23 Fire Department.
9534 UP Police appoints Sub Inspector
RK Vishwakarma, director general of the UP Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPR and PB), said: “A total of 1,000-1,500 sub-inspector posts have been removed so far this year but this time we have taken 9534 posts, which is why we have to recruit men and women. 12 lakh applications have been received. He said the selection process would be completed by this year. “We are planning to complete the entire selection process by December,” Vishwakarma said.

“We are planning to conduct a written test between the end of October and the middle of November and the results will be announced by the end of November. In addition, the second phase of physical examination will be done in early December as the weather is fine. The entire process will be completed by the end of December.
UP police have also set a record in 2020
Let us tell you, the UP police have a record in 2020. A maximum of 31243 promotions were announced in various sections of the Police and PAC at that time. A senior official of UPPR and PB, Yogi Adityanath, who took over as chief minister in 2017, said that UP police have recruited 1.44 lakh policemen in all its wings in various ranks. The government employs 2,281 dependents in the police department on compassionate grounds.
