Many students in grades 10 and 12 are not satisfied with the Central Secondary Education Board’s (CBSE) assessment formula. CBSE will give these students a written test in August. He shared this information on Twitter right from the hospital bed. Education Minister Nishank was scheduled to answer questions on social media from students regarding the 10th and 12th class exams yesterday. But for some reason it was not organized and he talked about giving the option of a written test in August by posting an audio message.
In his message, he said, “Students in grades 10 and 12 who are not satisfied with the CBSE assessment formula need not worry. You will be arranged to take the written test in August.” At the same time, “As the CBSE has already made clear, students who opt for this written test must accept the marks obtained therein.

Let me tell you, CBSE canceled its Class XII exam on June 1 following Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s decision. In fact, since April, a growing number of students and parents have been demanding the cancellation of the test due to the rise in Covid cases.
Subsequently, CBSE gave its answer to the Supreme Court in relation to the 12th standard assessment formula. The results of CBSE 12th grade students are based on the 10th, 11th grade marks and their achievement in the 12th standard. The court agreed with the description of the assessment formula as pragmatic.
