Shukla, the Additional Chief Secretary of Higher Secondary Education, has issued instructions to all private schools across the state. This is the second consecutive year that the state government has imposed a ban on school fees. All schools in the state affiliated to the CBSE, ICSE or UP Board (CBSE, ICSE & UP Board) are not allowed to increase fees for the academic period 2022-23. Schools will only be allowed to charge applicable fees for 2019-20.
Additional Secretary General Education Addu Shukla (Aradhana Shukla) On January 7, a letter to the Director of Education, Secretary, Secondary Education and Divisional Director has been made known to the Education and School District aspirants. According to the letter, the officer also issued a stringent action warning by raising fees against schools that violate the ordinance. The decision was taken in the interest of parents to avoid the hassle of increasing school fees, education department officials said.
