Admission to DU Colleges 2021: Admission to undergraduate (UG) courses is underway at Delhi University (DU). DU’s Dean Dayal Upadhyay College released its second cut-off list on Saturday. In this, the marks required for BSc (Honors) Computer Science have been reduced by 1.5%. The cut-off of courses in the first list is 100 per cent, but no applications are accepted for the first list. In the second list, the cut-off is 98.5 per cent, but it is closed for entry into the SC, ST and EWS categories.
Shaheed Sukhadev College of Business Studies and Hansraj College Admission to BSc (Honors) Mathematics, BSc (Honors) Zoology, BSc (Life Science) Admission is closed, BA Program Combination Economics, Political Science and History are also closed. Some courses, such as BSc (Honors) Chemistry, BA (Honors) English, BSc Physical Science with Chemistry are closed for admission in the reserved sections.
Students get one percent reduction in the scores for all courses. Aryabhatta College also released its second cut-off list, which has dropped from 0.25 per cent to one per cent. The college BA (honors) placed the highest cut-off for psychology at 98.5 percent of all first-time courses, down from 98.25 on the second list. Upon admission to the first list at Delhi University, about half the seats have been filled.
The University of Delhi released the first cut-off list on 1 October 2021. Under the university’s first cut-off list, 904 applications of 60 thousand were received. Eight colleges in the first list placed 100 percent cut-offs for 10 programs. According to official information, the admission process for this list ended at 11:59 pm on Friday night and is the last date for payment. As of now, 130 of 36 thousand 130 students have accumulated fees.
