Working with Father until Intermediate
Shubham Gupta was originally from Jaipur, Rajasthan. Shubham was working with his father and studying until he was intermediate. Despite financial constraints, he studied diligently and after an interval he was admitted to the University of Delhi. From there, he earned a BA Honors Degree. After that he started preparing for UPSC.
Failed many times, but never lost courage
Shubham Gupta passed the UPSC civil services examination twice, but he did not give up and decided to achieve his own destiny. He devised a good strategy and worked hard and prepared. On the third attempt, he passed the exam, but was awarded All-India Rank 366. This did not give him an IAS service. He finally made another attempt and made his dream of becoming an IAS by getting All India Rank 6 on the fourth try.

Shubham’s advice to other candidates
Shubham believes that if you want to have success in UPSC, first set the curriculum in your mind well. Likewise, start preparing by preparing study material and a good schedule. Apart from studies, keep an eye on the events around you and be aware of current events, he says. According to Shubham, when you develop your personality as a whole, you will be a success at UPSC.
