Saurabh Pandey became IAS on his last attempt after years of failure

Success Story of IAS Topper Saurav Pandey: When a person fails several times in a row at UPSC, frustration begins to surround him. At such times, he must be patient and constantly strive to achieve his goal. This is the story of Saurabh Pandey, an IAS officer. Despite losing the UPSC five consecutive times, he did not lose heart and made his dream come true by earning the All India Rank 66 on his last try. Once, they decided to abandon the preparation but thanks to family and friends, they completed the journey.

After a few years of work the preparation has begun
Saurabh Pandey is a resident of Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh. After graduation he worked for a few years. After this he decided to start preparing for UPSC. Making this decision was not easy for him, but still he decided to go into civilian service. Saurabh knew that UPSC’s journey was not easy, so he had already strengthened himself mentally to prepare. They took advantage of this in times of failures.

Traveling UPSC can be very challenging
For the first time in 2014, Saurabh Pandey gave UPSC exam, in which he was not successful. Even after all this, despite all the efforts, he had to deal with failure by going to some stage four times in a row. When they got 5 consecutive failures at UPSC, then they decided to leave this preparation. During this time, his family and friends supported him and inspired the last effort. This time his luck was favored and he achieved All-India Rank 66.

Saurabh’s advice to other candidates
Saurabh Pandey says UPSC’s journey is very traumatic for you. So prepare yourself well for this. They say you should stay away from negative people during preparation. They will lower you by all means. Also, if you make a backup plan, then it is very easy for you to prepare. Saurabh believes that with continuous hard work you can succeed in UPSC.
