OPSC invites applications for recruitment to 320 Associate posts, read details

The Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has issued an advertisement for the recruitment of Assistant Professor posts in the state’s public universities operating under the Department of Higher Education. This time 320 assistant professors will be appointed.
At the same time, it is a consolation for these universities that are facing a shortage of teachers. In fact, from teaching to research work and mentoring to PhD scholars, a small number of teachers remain an important subject in universities.

Applications can be made from July 23 to August 23
Eligible candidates can apply for these posts from July 23 to August 23 at 11 universities. Registered online applications can be submitted on the OPSC website until August 31st. The minimum age limit for applying for these posts is 21 years.

Recruitment to 50 posts for Associate Professor posts.
Let us say that applications have been invited for the post of Assistant Professor for 50 subjects including English, Physics, Anthropology, Zoology, Law, Economics, Theology, Advaita Vedanta, Justice, Veda, Sarvarshana and Grammar.

Recruitment of assistant professors to 2 state universities is underway
It should be noted that the OPSC has already started recruiting assistant professors to 12 state universities. An official from the higher education department said, “In November last year, we appealed to the OPSC to appoint an assistant professor. The process is underway and after a few months we will get a new batch of assistant professors ”
Previously, the recruitment of university teachers was done by the respective universities. But last year, the state government amended the Odisha University Act of 1989 and decided to recruit teachers through OPSC.
