CBSE Board Examination 2021-22 Covid-19 outbreak Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) had to adopt a new assessment plan for the CBSE 10th and 12th board exams and as part of the new assessment scheme, CBSE has postponed the class 10th and 12th with 50% syllabus for each period. It is important to note that the CBSE 10th, Class 12th Period 1 exam is scheduled for next month and the second period will be held in March-April 2022.

CBSE said, “The curriculum for the academic year 2021-22 will be divided into two terms after systematic approach, taking into account the interrelationship of concepts and subject matter experts.” We are giving some updates to students who will be sitting for the Term 1 board exam next month.

Flexible scheduling The CBSE Term 1 exam will be held on a flexible schedule of 4-8 weeks from November.

MCQ-type questions are asked in the Term 1 exam and cover only 50 percent of the entire syllabus. Reasoning model MCQ questions can also be asked.

During the periodDuration 1 exam is 90 minutes (1 hour, 30 minutes).

Sample paper

CBSE has released a sample paper for CBSE 10th and 12th Board Exam 2022. Students should note that the Term Paper of Term-1 is available on the official website cbse.nic.in.
