According to the two-day schedule set by the Karnataka State Secondary Secondary Examination Board (KSEB), the 10th class exams are being held on the first day today, covering the core subjects, science, math and social science. At the same time, an examination of the language papers will be held on July 22. The SSLC exam duration is three hours. The test is conducted in an OMR sheet (Optical Mark Recognition or Optical Mark Reading), where multiple choice questions are asked. OMR sheets are of different colors so that there is no confusion among students when attending the exam.

A total of 8.76 lakh students have registered for the Karnataka SSLC Examination 2021. Due to the COVID 19 epidemic, various state boards of India have canceled their board exams and decided to release their results based on internal assessment policy. However, Karnataka is among the few states that have agreed to conduct board exams this year.
