The Jammu and Kashmir Parent Secondary Education Board (JKEBOS) has canceled the board exams pending 11th and 12th grades. The office of the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir has tweeted that the board exams have been canceled due to the Kovid-19 epidemic. A detailed process for announcing board class results and calculation of scores will be announced shortly.

Regarding the cancellation of the exams, the Lieutenant Governor’s Office in Jammu and Kashmir tweeted, “In view of the safety and well-being of the students due to the Kovid epidemic, all pending JKBOS exam session 2020 -21 (regular / private) 11th and 12th class are waiting for their exams or results. It has been stated that “the detailed process of publishing the result with the marking scheme of Jakebos will be completed soon”.
Except for CBSE, many states have canceled their board exams.
It is important to note that the 12th examination of CBSE was canceled at a meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on June 1. Many states subsequently canceled their board exams. Another Central Board, the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), and the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) have also canceled 10th and 12th grade exams.
At the same time, the state government of Assam has decided to conduct board exams. The state government has said on June 8 that it will conduct the 10th and 12th class exams and the SOP will be issued soon.
