Facebook-owned Instagram has suddenly been discontinued in India and parts of the world. Instagram shares its servers with WhatsApp and Facebook, but there is no problem with these two apps, but the app is not running on Instagram’s Android and iOS devices. Many users have complained about this.
45% of users complained
According to the Down Detector website, problems began to pop up in India this morning at 11am. About 45 percent of Instagram users have complained about the app, while 33 percent of users are having problems with the Instagram website. The remaining 22 percent of users claimed to be concerned about server connectivity issues. More than 1,000 users have reported the issue on the website.

Prior to that, Instagram had recently been shut down. Large breakdowns have been reported from the United States of America, New York, Los Angeles and Washington DC. According to Downtrector, the most reported issues in the newsfeed came from the Story and Instagram website.
