The Supreme Court on Wednesday asked the Supreme Court Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) to allow the candidates to opt out of the CA Examination. The “opt-out” option does not require RT-PCR
Not only this, the Supreme Court has dismissed ICAI’s requirement to produce an RT-PCR certificate seeking an “opt-out” option. Registered physicians are not required to submit an RTPCR report along with a medical certificate and selection request issued to family members.
This policy of ICAI has been rejected by the Supreme Court
In addition, the court rejected ICAI’s policy of not providing an “opt-out” option, suggesting that the opt-out option would not be offered at the same time to replace the test center within the city. The court said the change to the test center should be given an “opt-out” option even though it is within the city.
