IAS Topper Tejaswi Rana’s Success Story: Many people initially aim for something else, which changes with time. Today we are going to tell you about Tejashwi Rana, an IAS officer who once wanted to become an engineer. For this, he cleared the entrance exam of IIT. He also graduated from IIT Kanpur with an engineering degree, but after that he made up his mind to go to UPSC on the advice of his parents. He achieved his dream of becoming an All India Rank 12 in the 2016 UPSC exam.
Be diligent in studying since childhood
Tejashwi Rana, a resident of Kurukshetra, Haryana, has been very active in her studies since childhood. He proved this by earning good marks in high school and intermediate. After Inter, he decided to pursue an engineering career. After this he was given the JEE test and he was successful in it. His rank was so good that he got IIT Kanpur. He graduated from here.
Such was the journey of the UPSC
In 2015, Tejashwi Rana took the UPSC exam for the first time. In this, he passed the pre-test but did not succeed in the main subjects. However, they came to know about the model of the test. Based on this, he strengthened the preparation and made another attempt at a better way. This time fortune favored them and they set a record by achieving the All India Rank 12. In this way his UPSC journey was completed.

Tejashwi’s advice to other candidates
Tejashwi believes that you should first review your syllabus. Make your study schedule accordingly and put it in front of you. Strengthen your basics with NCERT books. Choose the option wisely. Continue to study constantly and go through the previous year’s question papers. After completing the syllabus, give a mock exam paper and practice answer writing. By doing this you will be able to perform well on exam day.
