The Congress won just 44 seats while the AAP won 27 seats out of 470. In Surat, the Congress has pushed the Congress party to the third position. Rajkot, Surat, Bhavnagar Congress president resigns

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said the win was special to me. People voted for development. People have been supporting our party for 2 decades. “I want to thank the activists of the BJP for this victory,” he tweeted.

The Congress had been laughing out loud at the victory of Punjab local bodies last week. The BJP fell to the fifth spot. It was then heard that the people were upset by the BJP’s move due to the impact of the Agriculture Act.
