The Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In) has issued a warning to users using the Chrome version older than 97.0.4692.71. CERT-In says such people can fall prey to hackers. CERT-In said in its consultation that there were many flaws in the Google Chrome browser, older than 97.0.4692.71. It is not safe to use on the V8 due to the type of confusion. It has many flaws such as web application, user interface, screen capture, file API, auto fill and developer tools. All these things increase your risk of hacking your device. After this, hackers can easily capture your data and bank related information. In view of this risk, Google is advising people to update older versions.

Update this way
First, check your Google Chrome browser and see which version you are using. If you are on an older version than 97.0.4692.71, then immediately update it using the following methods.
- First open the Chrome browser and then go to the menu option.
- Now you have to click on the help option.
- After this you will see an option about Google Chrome. Here you get the option to update your Chrome browser. The browser will start updating as soon as you click it.
