1-DelhiThe Delhi government has decided not to open schools yet. Recently, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said schools were not opened due to the threat of a third wave of corona. Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said, “The internationally available data shows that the third wave of Kovid is coming.
Puducherry has decided not to reopen schools in view of the threat of the third wave of corona. However, it was decided to reopen all government and private schools for students from 9th to 12th of July. Chief Minister N Rangaswamy has announced that all colleges in the central region will reopen from July 16. But the decision was later withdrawn. The government has said that they have taken this decision in view of the health of the people.
3–Uttar Pradesh –Since July 1, schools in Uttar Pradesh have been opened for educational purposes. But only teachers and non-teaching staff are allowed to attend school. For the same students, online learning-teaching is currently underway. The state government has not taken any decision on opening schools.
4- Karnataka- State Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa said schools and colleges would not be opened again. Clinical trials of immunization for students under the age of 18 are still underway, so it is not possible to open schools and colleges at this time, he said.
5- Tamil Nadu No decision has been taken on opening schools and colleges in the state. At present, the learning and teaching of students is continued only through online classes.
6- West Bengal The government has not announced any reopening of schools and colleges in West Bengal.
Meanwhile, many states like Haryana, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Odisha have started physical classes for 10th and 12th standard students with certain conditions.
