The Central Secondary Education Council (CBSE) in partnership with UNICEF has launched an online portal for career guidance and counseling for students in grades 9 to 12 in all affiliated schools. CBSE’s Career Guidance and Counseling Portal is available on the official website of http://www.cbsecareerguidence.com.
Two teachers from each school provide digital training for the portal
Through the CBSE Personal Career Dashboard, students will be able to access over 360 courses, 1200 scholarships and 1150 entrance exams from more than 560+ professions, 25,000 colleges and professional organizations. In addition, each school will have two teachers or counselors trained through the Portal Digital Training Period and a personal counselor dashboard to access the entire career curriculum, which will be used to guide students with their career-related questions.
Career Portal provides many information
Career Portal provides information about career, college directory, courses, scholarships and competitive entrance exams in many countries. UNICEF, along with 13 state governments and private sector partners, has customized career portals in regional languages, helping 21 million adolescents access education and work resources.
Millions of young people are worried about the future because of the epidemic
According to UNICEF India’s Head of Education Terry Durnian, “The epidemic has raised millions of young people with concerns about their future livelihoods and skills they need to grow in the 21st century.
