The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced that a total of 7035 posts will be recruited under SSC CGL 2020-21 to fill various Group B and C posts in Ministries / Departments / Institutions of the Government of India. The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will conduct the Combined Degree Level (CGL) Examination from August 13-24.
SSC CGL 2020-21 recruitment has 4 levels of exams. Candidates shortlisted for the Tier-I exam can sit for the Tier-II examination comprising four papers, of which Paper 1 and 2 are compulsory. The exam, which is scheduled to take place in August, is the first of four selection exams, based on which the Commission selects candidates to fill 7,305 vacancies.

SSC CGL 2020 Notification Released in December 2019 The Commission had announced the filling of more than 6,000 vacancies at that time. In February 2021, the Commission released an updated blank list, which increased the number of vacant posts to 7305.
Through this recruitment drive, a total of 500 accounting and 400 divisional accountant posts in the Comptroller and Auditor General of India will be filled through this examination. At the same time, a total of 1216 central excise inspector posts have been filled in the Central Indirect Tax and Customs Board (CBIC). In the Central Direct Tax Board, 1085 posts of Tax Assistants are filled. The SSC CGL2020 admission card will be issued in the last week of July.
Candidates should note that this is the 2020 version of the SSC CGL exam. The 2021 version of the test has not yet been released.
