Users now see ads on Instagram’s short video feature reels owned by the tech giant Facebook. After testing ads for Instagram reels in India, Australia, Brazil and Germany in April, the company has officially released the ad feature on the reel to everyone around the world.
That’s why the feature came
Instagram has announced this in its official blog posts. These ads will help businesses reach more and more people so they can find and view new content inspired by brands and influencers, the company said.
Ads will appear in full screen
The ads for the Instagram reel appear in full screen and at high altitude. These ads are seen between different reels. Like regular reels, these ads loop and run for 30 seconds. Users will be able to like, save and share comments on these reel ads.
There will be access between such users
Reel Aids is one of the most popular places to access reel content, including the Reel tab, Reels in Stories, Reels in Explore, and Reels in Feed. When users tap into Reel from Stories, Feed, Reel Tab or Explore, they reach users who are scrolling through reels for a long time.
Can be controlled
Instagram allows users to control how these ads are handled. That is, if you see and dislike an ad, Instagram gives you the option to skip or hide the ad in addition to tapping on the menu to report it.
