NEET UG Exam 2021: National Eligibility and Entrance Test (NEET) UG, Medical Entrance Examination, was held on Sunday, September 12th. Over 95 registered candidates attended the examination conducted in over 3800 centers across the country. Authorities have provided this information.
This year, a record 16.14 lakh candidates registered for NEET. At the same time, last year, more than 85 percent of registered candidates between the Kovid-19 pandemic passed the test. A senior official said: “Following all the guidelines of Kovid-19, more than 95 percent of the candidates appeared for the exam on Sunday.”
This year, tests were conducted in Dubai and Kuwait, with one each
Of note, the 13 languages tested this year include Hindi, Punjabi, Assamese, Bengali, Oriya, Gujarati, Marathi, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Tamil, Urdu and English. Newly added in Punjabi and Malayalam. Not only that, but for the first time this year, the test was conducted in Dubai and Kuwait, one at each center.
The number of test centers and test cities has increased
The National Eligibility Come Entrance Test (UG) was earlier scheduled for August 1 but was postponed to September 12. The number of cities tested has been increased from 155 to 202. The number of test centers has been increased from 3,862.
