With the introduction of two norms in CBSE 10th and 12th, the Directorate of Education has introduced a common assessment system for all the public, private and government-funded schools in Delhi for grades 9 and 11 for the academic year 2021-22. After that, the academic sessions are two-term exams, which means that the midterm exam (Period-I) and the Annual Examination (Period-II) each cover about 50 percent of the course.

The Directorate of Education (DoE) mandates that each student be weighed 50 percent for the final outcome calculation, according to the period and subject points shared with the schools. Period-1 or Medium Question Papers – The 90-minute period that should take place at the same time, the duration of Period-2 is two hours, and it is descriptive with short or long-answer questions.
CBSE A special assessment plan was announced in July
The Central Secondary Education Council (CBSE) announced a special assessment plan for class 10 and 12 exams next year in view of the Kovid-19 pandemic in July, splitting the academic year in two. Rationalize the curriculum of the 22nd academic year and make internal assessment and project work more “credible” and “valid”. The CBSE Term One exam is scheduled for November-December, 2021 and the second term for March-April, 2022.
